‘A’ Wing
Paint Party
12th March 2019
Club House, Ashoka Towers, Parel

‘A’ Wing celebrated Holi by dabbling in creative colouring.

The talented Vinisha Savla of Paintology, conducted a workshop on ‘Fun with Fluid Painting’, which required no painting experience or artistic skills.

She taught them fluid painting on wooden trays.

Each member used her own aesthetic artistry on her tray, and the beautiful array of individual genius and medley of colours was a sight to behold!

The Ashoka Party Hall was decorated with an air of festivity. Floral rangolis, colourful Holi posters added to the theme.

Roli-chandan tilaks were applied on entry. Thandai was served in keeping with the tradition and Badam Pista sweets were distributed by Sarla Damani who had celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary. A delicious Rajasthani buffet lunch was served at the end. Members carried home their trays, as a memento of this colourful Holi celebration.

The spirit of Womanhood
Talli Turmeric, Atria Mall, Worli

Two bus-loads of ‘B’ wing members totalling 74 ladies, gathered at Worli Sea Face, to wend their way to LXR Chalets a rustic getaway, tucked away in the mountains of Khandala-Lonavala. En route, members were served samosas, makhanas and several other things to nibble.

Breakfast at the resort included watermelon & orange juice, South Indian fare along with hot corn and matar chat. Everyone needed churan to digest their food.

Several games were organized – musical chairs garland relay race, feeding the clown, balloon darts and hitting the pyramid. It was like going back to school again, and the members loved it, participating wholeheartedly.

Lunch had an assortment of vegetables and rotis, along with nachos, pizza and onion rings. Dessert was gulab jamuns and fresh strawberry mousse. Housie and balloon train was played later. Some ladies just lazed in the hammocks or chatted on the swings.

The goodbye meal before departure was bhel, sev puri and batata vadas along with tea and coffee.

‘C’ Wing
15th March 2019
Global Fusion, Atria Mall, Worli

Dancing to Bollywood music charges you instantly and sends your spirits soaring. And with a professional choreographer like Ms Moushomi Garg, it was fun all the way. She demonstrated the movements and urged the members to gyrate and let their hair down.

The Banquet Hall of Global Fusion was the perfect venue, for peppy moves and foot tapping music.

The kohl eyed Moushomi got everyone charged up with her dancing and vibrant personality. She was appreciative and expressive, encouraging even the most sluggish to shake a leg. It was indeed an energetic session, with no interludes to laze or chat. A high calorie burnout done while having fun. The food was a lavish spread of sushi, salads, main course and desserts. The ladies were heard raving about the choice of food and the sushi lovers were over the top!!! A totally fun meet for all who attended.
