The city of Bombay is a storyteller's paradise!

On July 15th, our guest speaker Mr. Ajay Goyal, made us witness the Charm of old Mumbai representing a time of the colonial era and European influence through his priceless collection of picture postcards. The vibrant British, Jewish and Parsi culture of the city was unfolded as members listened with disbelief about the facts and glory of Bombay. From old Colaba beach through the heritage architectural structures of Kala Ghoda, Horniman Circle, Fort, Flora fountain it was truly and immersive experience that celebrated the magic of the bygone era of Mumbai! In spite of living in Bombay for many years, we never could see it in this light!! It was truly Bombay as never seen before, through a connoisseur’s lens!!
